Gate to India in Cologne

Unfortunately, the Gate to India is not recommended at all. The tandoori lamb is inedible. The vegetable dish overcooked and slack. The salad prepared similarly carelessly.

We ordered from Gate to India for a slightly different Christmas party. They all got their order on time, even though we live all over Cologne. The food was delicious and all employees were extremely friendly and friendly. This commitment exceeded all expectations. Many Thanks!

The food was so mediocre and personally too expensive for the quality and quantity on offer.

The rice was OK. The food (delivered on time and hot via Lieferando) was ordered in the MEDIUM level. All in all, it was very spicy! The naan bread was unfortunately very "wobbly" and not really good. Too bad. We'll soon be going back to our favorite Indian in the southern part of the city.

Delivery time over 2 hours. Food was still lukewarm. After addressing it, which took a long time, the answer came: yes, that's the way it is. Delivery wasn't complete either. We ordered for € 60. The first and the last time .. do not order here !!!

The food is amazing, the service is good too. The place is simple but cozy, the most important thing is the food, I only can say really tasty.

Absolutely horrendous quality of food, please take my advice and never order from this restaurant. They're expensive, and the food they serve doesn't even deserve half the price they charge.

The absolutely worst food of my life !!! Not order!!! 15 € for a starter platter that was absolutely inedible. Just old things that were left in the fryer. 15 € for a butter chicken that was just tomato sauce. In addition, the rice was also forgotten. The naan just brown and labia ... And last but not least a supplier who was cheeky and didn't even greet us but gave us a whine why we would live on the fourth floor. The worst food of my life, I could have just thrown the money out the window, it would have been even better invested. Thanks for nothing!

Food very expensive for what we received. Butter Chicken, the sauce was bright red, like tomato sauce, it tasted like butter chicken. In the other meal, mango should be inside, 2 small slices of mango were inside. Ordered and eaten there for the first and last time. Never again.

Visited here tonight with a group. Absolutely wonderful service and food. Would highly recommend.

According to Lieferando 1 hour waiting time, actually only 1.5 hours later. Shrimp were totally overcooked and the sauce nothing special, no vegetables, nothing, just potatoes. At the same time totally inflated prices. Very disappointing.

Meat was ok sauce was not very nice ... the salty lassi and the mixed raita were a disaster. I usually always liked to order there, the curry costs 15 euros a portion, but that was worth the quality. Now, unfortunately, they have decreased considerably.

After 2.5 hours came a driver, but I had meanwhile provided food elsewhere. Approximately 30 minutes before Lieferando stated that the delivery had been made. The restaurant could not be reached by phone. Please check the restaurant for seriousness. Thank you!

You just have to love them! It is the best delivery service. The food was always great, extra wishes are observed. When I ordered once on the road and accidentally gave the wrong address, the driver came without problems to the correct address (10 min away) thank you, that there is you!

very impolite! I ordered the food and it was supposed to be there in 90 mins. I called them after 100 mins and asked them for my food. no apologies! instead they hung up on me after telling me I have to wait another 20 mins! will never order there again!

Not customer friendly and one hour late delivery

After repeated requests where the food stays and repeated promise that it was on the way, I am called after 1 hour and 40 minutes that the driver in 10 minutes was there. Order cancelled! Had guests. THANK YOU for the kinky evening !!!!!!

Unfortunately the palak paneer wasn’t good enough and the malai kofta was mediocre. Also they do not send cutlery which is unfortunate

Rumor has it James Bond works here at times. 10/10 India simulator, complete with dingdong music. Oh and great food no lie.

Ordered online from this place. Should have taken 50 mins according to them, and took over 2.5 hours. Called the restaurant, instead of being apologetic, they said you can complain on the app. Food was disappointing too. Will never order again.

Food is nothing special but good. The staff though is super attentive and friendly.

Tasty food

Had the best Indian food ever here, and my Indian colleague agreed, saying "it tasted like at home". Very tasty spiced chicken and sauces. Will definitely go here again.
